Flame & Flowers Workshop 02/05/21 SOLD OUT

Come & join Caroline, owner of Willowvale Road Candles & Sharlene, owner of The Wildflower Studio for a hands-on day making candles & floral arranging.

The workshop is located in a purpose built black barn on a working dairy farm in the rolling hills behind Gerringong - A stroll up the road from Crooked River Winery.

You will start with a cuppa & sweet treat while soaking in the view out to Gerringong and the ocean from the barn veranda. 

This is followed by a round table discussion on everything you need to know about creating your own candles from care and safety through to how to make them. You'll then get to choose from the array of scents where you'll then pour your own large, medium & small candles under the guidance of Caroline.

We then break for a lunch of bubbles & antipasto grazing boxes.

After lunch Sharlene will take you through the art of flower arranging. We’ll start by foraging for greenery on Caroline’s property. Sharlene will show you how to respectfully choose & cut garden foliages in a way that preserves and enhances the bushes and environment that we collect from.

Back in the barn we will prepare our foraged finds and mix them with beautiful farm fresh flowers to create a beautifully wild and long lasting hand made floral bouquet that you get to take home.

With the skills you learn you’ll be able to hunt in your own backyard for ingredients to make your own flower arrangements at home.

We finish off with afternoon tea.
