Willowvale Road is built around a slower way of making.

Our candles are poured in small batches, thoughtfully fragranced and finished by hand, with care given to every detail before they leave our studio. We are less interested in chasing trends than in creating pieces that feel considered, beautiful and worth returning to. 

Yes. Our candles are poured in small batches and finished by hand. Because of this, subtle variations in the wax may occur from candle to candle — part of the character of something made rather than mass-produced. 

Each fragrance includes a selection of key notes to help you get a sense of its character. Fragrance is deeply personal, so if you are unsure, we recommend beginning with one of our smaller formats before choosing a larger piece.

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly towards the edges of the vessel where possible. We recommend burning your candle for no longer than 3-4 hours at a time. 

Each order is carefully prepared before leaving our studio. Orders are generally dispatched within 2×3 business days.
