Dear friends and supporters,

 

Willowvale Road as a business, has now closed.

 

Like so many small businesses, the past few years have brought challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to keep going. Running my business from home has made it more difficult every year to find an insurer to cover what I do, at a reasonable price. To cover this hugely increased cost, I'd have to work a lot harder than I am prepared to do. I have also recently found out that my candle wax, imported from the USA, is no longer available in Australia. With my involvement in my husbands new sports medicine practice increasing, the timing is right.

 

It’s still heartbreaking as Willowvale Road has been such a meaningful part of my life. What started as a creative outlet grew into a community of people who shared in my love of handmade. To everyone who purchased a piece, attended a workshop, sent a kind word, or followed along with my journey over the past 8 years — thank you. You’ve helped make this dream possible, and I’ll always be deeply grateful.

 

I'll still be playing with clay as my hobby and posting pics on social media of what I'm working on, along with my local area on the beautiful south coast, so please stay in touch!
