Candle Making Masterclass - 24th August

Come & join Caroline, the owner of Willowvale Road Candles for a hands-on afternoon of fun making 3 different types of candles. This workshop is perfect for anyone, from the beginner who just wants to have a fun afternoon away from reality, or those wanting to take it further and start making candles at home for themselves or to sell.

Caroline's purpose built charred timber barn is located on a dairy farm in the rolling hills behind Gerringong, a stroll up the road from Crooked River Winery. 

You will start with refreshments and lunch of individual grazing boxes while soaking in the stunning views out to Gerringong and the ocean from the barn veranda.  This is followed by a round table discussion on everything you need to know about creating your own candles including how to get the most out of your candles. You'll then get to pour your own glass candles x 2, a beeswax table candle, & a heart shaped silicone mould candle.

This is all followed by afternoon tea catered by the cake queen, Lizzy from Willow Hill Cakes. 

Not only will you take home your creations, you will also take home an information booklet with all you need to know to create your own candles at home, including sourcing supplies. Free ongoing advice is offered to those who would like to create their own candles at home.

Each general ticketed class has a maximum of  10 - 12 people. The website will only allow you to book as many tickets as are left. If you want to book for 2 people and it will only allow you to book for 1, then there is only 1 ticket left in that workshop.

Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
